Hey there!
I'm Deepika Gopalakrishnan, a design engineering student at Harvard University. I am passionate about designing healthcare products for developing countries.
After my undergrad in 2020, I co-founded a healthcare innovation startup, Dverse Labs. At Dverse Labs, my team developed and implemented automated disinfection technologies to make hospital spaces safer.
I am also passionate about design education and enjoy mentoring school students. I have also illustrated a math textbook that highlights the contributions of Indian mathematicians. I am currently working in the Harvard Biodesign Lab, designing a soft robotics toolkit for children.
At Harvard, I hope to gain interdisciplinary and strategic skills to tackle complex systemic challenges in healthcare. My focus is on gaining skills to develop product-service systems that empower people to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
In my free time, you can find me trekking in the mountains, jogging, baking, playing my ukulele, illustrating children's books, or reading books.
